Recommended Uses
Rotary Gold is recommended for drill collars and all rotary shoulder connections. Rotary Gold adheres to the performance requirements of API 5A3 for use as a thread sealant and lubricant on line pipe including tubing and casing.
Chemola™ ThredOn Rotary Gold is formulated with Lithium complex grease to ensure long-term shear stability. Rotary Gold contains rust and oxidation inhibitors plus other lubricant stabilizers to resist reaction with H2S and other down hole environments. Copper flakes and amorphous graphite are used as anti-galling additives and ensure a positive seal, providing an incredibly stable, high temperature thread compound that can be used in most drilling situations.
